Pinguicula "Snow Queen" — Variegated Butterwort

Pinguicula "Snow Queen" is a live variegated butterwort hybrid of Pinguicula moranensis var. caudata and Pinguicula spec. Guatemala. Its variegation around the leaves needs soft light; strong light can bleach the white sections.

Care

Use soft or indirect light and avoid strong lighting, which can bleach the variegated areas. If bleaching occurs, move the plant to indirect light to support a return to its original variegated form over time. Grow in Mexican Pinguicula mix, keep the soil moist, and feed fish food or bugs every 3–4 weeks.
